Our products have been developed by combining scientific knowledge of the ingredients (herbs, plants, oils, salts, etc) & how they may be safely used in veterinary medicine. We make informed choices based on scientifically sound information, research results & documented clinical evidence.
PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT IS BASED ON EVIDENCE BASED MEDICINE, RESEARCH & TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE.
Careful selection & combination of correct ingredients is critical, for safety & efficacy. For example, for Turmeric to be (1) absorbed & (2) effective, it needs to be combined with specific ingredients, such as an oil. Just feeding Turmeric powder will be ineffective as it will pass through the bowel without being absorbed.
SOURCE OF INGREDIENTS
The origin of ingredients is just as important as the selection of ingredients. We will select a plant for its' medical properties, which may vary according to geographical region. For example, properties of Bentonite Clay (used for hoof poultices)will vary in different regions of Australia.

CALENDULA
Flower petals are infused into oils used in our products. Research displays increased rate of wound healing, anti-inflammatory effect & anti-bacterial activity. More info.
YARROW
Flowers and leaves are used in wound healing, especially effective to staunch tissue bleeding, reduce inflammation and promote tissue healing. Used as an astringent in our Wound Washes and in our healing salves.
MILK THISTLE
Milk Thistle is a safe herbal medical supplement that is commonly used as a feed additive for animals. Especially useful for liver disease.
SEAWEED
Collected from the north Atlantic Oceans, the pure alga
"Ascophyllum nodosum" provides a rich source of nutrients for animals.
HONEY
The healing powers of honey are attributed to the clever bees who produce enzymes that help draw water from wounds with additional anti-bacterial activity.
BEESWAX
Produced by bees to waterproof the hive, is antibacterial & antifungal. Locking in moisture it is extremely moisturing & safe.
OILS
Sumptuous oils are used in our products including Olive Oil, Jojoba, Shea Butter & Coconut oil. Melted with Beeswax, they form the base of products.

Combining the super healing powers of the ocean & bees!
This amazing combination has been brought together in a wound gel for all animals.

As a "demulcent" it soothes & protects mucous membranes. Its mucilaginous properties (slippery & slimy) coat & protect the gut lining to help heal & protect against ulcers
